Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh was the Chief Guest for the distribution ceremony of the National Awards for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi on 1st March, 2014. The National awards were given to outstanding achievers in Khadi, Village Industries & Coir sector. In addition, Public Sector Banks are awarded for excellence in MSE lending and lending to micro enterprises. This year’s total number of National Awardees are 110, including 37 from MSME Sector, 47 from Khadi & Village Industries and 20 from Coir Industries and 6 from Public Sector Banks.
